Hoot Windows ("Hoot," "we," "us," or "our") operates a lead-matching service that connects homeowners with third-party window installation companies ("Partner Installers"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and — importantly — how and why we share it.

1. Information we collect

When you submit a quote request, we collect the information you provide, including your ZIP code, project type, number of windows, ownership status, full name, email address, and phone number. We also collect standard technical information (IP address, device, referring page).

2. How we share your information with Partner Installers

Hoot is a lead-generation service. The contact information you submit — including your name, email, phone number, and project details — is shared with one or more Partner Installers who serve your area so they can contact you and provide quotes. By submitting the quote form, you understand and agree that your information will be shared for this purpose.

3. Consent to be contacted

By checking the consent box on the quote form and submitting your request, you expressly consent to be contacted by Hoot Windows and its Partner Installers by phone (including calls placed using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded voice), SMS/text message, and email at the phone number and email address you provided, for the purpose of discussing your window project. Standard message and data rates may apply. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, clicking unsubscribe in any email, or emailing hello@hootwindows.com.

4. How we use information

We use your information to (a) match you with Partner Installers, (b) operate and improve our service, (c) send service-related communications, and (d) comply with legal obligations.

5. Your rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise these rights, email hello@hootwindows.com. Note that once your information has been shared with a Partner Installer, that installer's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

6. Data retention & security

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the service and to comply with our legal obligations. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect it.
